Every citizen has the equal right to elect and participate in a democracy. Finally, the will of the people manifests through an elected government.

A democracy provides its people the freedom of speech and expression. Open discussions are held on all major issues, legislation and decisions are taken on the basis of popular public opinion.

Citizens in a democracy are given the right to information about the government, and it's functioning,

A democratic government might be less efficient, slow, less responsive, and less clean, but it is better than its other alternatives.

People all over the world support the idea of democracy and do not doubt the suitability of democracy for their own countries.
